At Union Building Services, quality assurance is a top priority. Consistency and reliability in services performed are dependent upon an efficient quality control program that works together with the person in charge of your facility and the UBS operations manager.

Communication between the UBS operations manager and crew is considered one of the most important ingredients of a successful quality control plan. UBS utilizes both a 24-hour phone service and a pager system to insure constant and prompt communication channels are open at all times.

UBS maintains shift supervisors who are responsible for the inspection of scheduled and non-scheduled work. A shift supervisor follows up and checks each area as work is completed. He submits written reports to the UBS operations manager on specific tasks defining whether the work performed is to the satisfaction of both contract specifications and UBS standards.
